Introducing the 2024 Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival

Embracing Indigenous Culture and Heritage

A Celebration for All Canadians

Prepare for an unforgettable cultural experience as the 2024 Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival (SSIF) takes center stage. This momentous event marks the vibrant intersection of Indigenous traditions and modern celebration, inviting all Canadians to immerse themselves in the richness of Inuit heritage.

From June 23 to June 25, the festival will captivate with an array of captivating events designed to honor and share Indigenous perspectives. Witness breathtaking performances, participate in engaging workshops, savor authentic cuisine, and connect with inspiring Indigenous leaders.

As the midnight Alaskan sun illuminates the land, the SSIF invites you to join in the revelry. On June 23, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, over 30,000 people will gather downtown for an unforgettable night of fun. Experience live music, witness cultural demonstrations, and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere.

For a weeklong celebration of summer, head to Bradford County, PA, from June 17 to June 23. The Susquehanna River will come alive with roots music concerts, painting sessions, inspiring speakers, and a vibrant marketplace. Come together to celebrate the solstice and the beauty of Indigenous culture.
